Do you accept the fact that climate changes? (You’d better, it has always been changing, throughout all of the Earth’s history).
Climate Change is about examining whether humans are able to cope with those changes. If we overpopulate, overconsume, and overexploit, there’s good reason to believe that we won’t deal with changes very well.
For example, it is true that millions of people in Asia rely on meltwater from glaciers that will disappear within the next 30-40 years. What then? This specific issue is part of the whole climate change discussion, and there is NOTHING untrue about it.
Stop generalizing the entire issue like it’s 100% true or 100% hoax. There are many issues within the discussion. If there is a particular issue within the entire debate that is unsupported by evidence, bring THAT up and we can talk about it. There are other issues that ARE supported by evidence, and we need to talk about those as well. People need to get specific or shut up.

The regions destined to feel its impact are the great wheat-producing lands of Canada and the U.S.S.R. in the North, along with a number of marginally self-sufficient tropical areas – parts of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indochina and Indonesia – where the growing season is dependent upon the rains brought by the monsoon.
The evidence in support of these predictions has now begun to accumulate so massively that meteorologists are hard-pressed to keep up with it. In England, farmers have seen their growing season decline by about two weeks since 1950, with a resultant overall loss in grain production estimated at up to 100,000 tons annually. During the same time, the average temperature around the equator has risen by a fraction of a degree – a fraction that in some areas can mean drought and desolation. Last April, in the most devastating outbreak of tornadoes ever recorded, 148 twisters killed more than 300 people and caused half a billion dollars’ worth of damage in 13 U.S. states.
…Climatologists are pessimistic that political leaders will take any positive action to compensate for the climatic change, or even to allay its effects. They concede that some of the more spectacular solutions proposed, such as melting the Arctic ice cap by covering it with black soot or diverting arctic rivers, might create problems far greater than those they solve. But the scientists see few signs that government leaders anywhere are even prepared to take the simple measures of stockpiling food or of introducing the variables of climatic uncertainty into economic projections of future food supplies. The longer the planners delay, the more difficult will they find it to cope with climatic change once the results become grim reality.

I don’t buy it, actually the CO2 in the atmosphere is really really good for plants. Healthier plants will convert more CO2 to oxygen. God designed plants to keep the CO2 levels on earth in balance. The only reason we should be replacing our energy source is to stop funding what is coming out of the middle east.

I can see both sides of the issue but I won’t believe global warming studies that don’t reveal their data or how they got it. In fact I don’t believe it because there are too many cases of fraudulant or cherry-picked data, and too many political and financial motivations behind the whole concept of man-made global warming. Science, when combined with politics, is no longer science.
