i live in nyc and i want to rent a limo for my wedding the prices go up by almost $500 dollars if it’s a wedding. the difference is that the wedding package will have alcohol and a church runner that really i don’t want. I don’t want anybody drinking before we get to the reception hall. A friend of mine told me to just ask for the hourly rate and not tell them that it is a wedding so i don’t have to pay for something i don’t want. Has anybody done this wouldn’t there be a problem when they get there the day of the wedding and notice it is a wedding?

my wedding is in august but the horse carriage wont work because i live in manhattan and my hall is in queens. we have to go pass a bridge to get to queens.
My parents are paying for for my wedding, and my mother is refusing to let us have limos. She says that it’s “dumb.” Do most people have limos? I really don’t want to be driven to church in a 10 year old minivan with a cracked windshield.
The cars my parents own are covered in dog hair on the inside and look like crap. My fiance’s car looks even worse. The best man is a garbage man and keeps his uniforms in his car.

My daughter is getting married in the spring. Instead of a limousine they are getting a trolley….I think its wonderful! It looks like it will be great fun…just exploring to see if there are any creative theme ideas that we should look into. Thanks. The trolley does not have to be the central theme at all so we are not locked into this…just brainstorming. thx
