My sister just got married last week. The pastor they usedto marry them, she found on the internet (problem number one in my book). the woman was professional upon meeting with them but later turned out to be otherwise. Pastor assumed they were not marrying b/c of unreturned phone messages on my sisters part, pastor mispronounced names, made a smart comment in the middle of the cermony about the vows they chose, quit reading the vows to eyeball their child, showed up demanding cash from anyone listening while pictures were being taken, solicted the limo company for future business deals, dressed inappropitley for a wedding, lit incences to accomadate herself (this was not part of the plan), rushed through things and excused herself letting it be known she thought there was going to be no wedding, foot tapping and saying stateing she had other things to do. My sister intends on complaing and letting theis behavior be known, where can she write it at an online review?

I booked a 14 passenger Lincoln Navigator for my wedding on June 14th. It was booked 6 months in advance.The company called 2 days before to confirm. Everything was ok. The day of the wedding, a 14 passenger Ford Excursion pulled up in front of my house. I didn’t want this but I didn’t have a choice but to deal with it because it was 30 min before my wedding. When I got in the limo, it was filthy dirty! The air conditioning did not work. The windows did not roll down. There was supposed to be a toast in front of the church and the driver didn’t do it. He wasn’t even in a suit. It was horrible! I contacted the limo company and they are not getting back to me. What can I do?

We need a limo or a party bus to take us from NJ to NYC on new years eve..it’s about a 45 minute drive with moderate traffic…we’d all get picked up at one place around 8pm and we’d all leave the city at 5am
(we don’t need all the extra stuff like plasma tvs and whatever else)
we just need to be able to listen to loud music and drink alcohol
1. around how much should it cost? or whats the cheapest deal?
2. once we’re in nyc do we get to still use it for rides if some of us want to go else where?(basically, is it ours between 8-5 to go wherever or do they charge more per stop)

In looking into the matter, I’ve found limos that require you to pay for a minimum of 3 or 4 hours (at $100 or more per hour).
I was even considering the possibility that if I cut the limo out of the budget, I *may* be able to afford to buy the bridesmaids dresses and pay for the groomsmens tux rentals.
Would this be a fair deal? Tell them “we’re going to pay for the dresses & tux rentals but we need you to transport yourselves from church to reception because we are cutting the limo from the budget”?
I realize the dresses & tuxes are more than the limo rental, but I thought it would be a nice thing to do.
What do you think???
